Establishing visual schedules provides predictability and can help to lessen anxiety. Visual schedules also support communication and assist with behavior management and self-regulation. Picture cards (not included) show images and photos of the many things will happen in a day. At the start of a day, select the cards that represent what will be happening for that day in each pocket, and as the day progresses remove each card and store it in a pouch as each task is finished.
