Version 1.1 of the Language Builder from Stages App includes unlimited student accounts with record keeping capabilities to track student progress.
Teachers and clinicians can create an individual profile for each student they work with. This allows the professional to create and save student-specific settings within each of the activities for each individual student, rather than changing the settings each time you use the app with a different student. You can now also track student progress within the app with the reports feature, which is great for professionals and parents alike! You can see information on lessons completed, the number of words correct or incorrect, and the types of prompts that were needed, all in one place! You can even track the student’s progress over time by looking at activities completed by date.
When you open the Language Builder from Stages App for the first time, you will be given a screen that allows you to use the app as a "Guest User" or add a new user. If you choose to add a new user, the app will prompt you to enter a first and a last name for the student user. Once you have entered the student's name, and click "create account," you can click on the "add photo" button to the right of the student's name. Take a picture of the student and the student will store the photo with the student's account.
You can create unlimited accounts. So you can use the app to track all of your students and their progress, or even to save lessons or assessments that you use frequently for across multiple students.
You can track individual students’ progress within the student profiles by using the reports feature. Reports provide information on how long it took the student to complete an activity, the number of targets and distractors used, details about prompts used, if any, and percentage correct for each target word. You can also track the student’s progress over time by looking at activities completed by date. This feature is available in both the Basic and Pro versions of the Language Builder from Stages app.
